Melanie + Matt
From the photographer: As a wedding photographer, you really aren’t supposed to have favorites. Every wedding is unique in its own way, regardless of the size or the budget. With that said, there is a little place in my heart for small and intimate weddings. When it comes to these personal gatherings, you know the priority is for the love of the couple and bringing the family together. This has never been truer than with Melanie and Matt’s New Hope wedding at Bowman’s Hill Wildflower Preserve. Their wedding was incredibly unique and had some amazingly adorable touches, especially vintage-y ones.
One of the special details about Melanie and Matt's wedding was that their rings were their grandparents. How sweet is that. And also...check out her colorful manicure choice! It's not often we see brides go bold with nail polishes for their wedding day but this is one mani that works so perfectly well here.
Guests of the wedding each selected a flower to add to a communal bouquet.
With a guest list of 15, Melanie and Matt knocked their intimate, personal wedding out of the park. An actual park. The ceremony at Bowman’s Hill Wildflower Preserve in ultra-charming New Hope, PA provided the perfect setting for a natural, local experience that highlighted the couple’s outdoorsy style and vintage sensibility. Every detail stayed true to the couple’s desire to leave a small footprint with a lot of love. At the end of the night, the happy couple drove off into the sunset in the groom’s lovingly restored vintage VW 1600 Fastback.
