Southern Charm Inspired Wedding
“I Do” Bucks County Exclusive
"I Do" Bucks County teamed up with some awesome local vendors to put together this Southern Charm Inspo for you all! Photography by Jess Palatucci with planning and design by La Rue Events. We love how it turned out and it totally makes us want to hang onto summer as long as we can. Scroll down to see some of our favorites-
We chose the Farm Bakery + Events for this shoot which had everything to offer that we were looking for when putting together this shoot. The romantic and rustic feel of the venue works perfect for fun and laid back couples who want to share every special moment of their day, with loved ones tucked away in the sprawling grounds of this Quakertown farm.
A small bridal party offers a more intimate feel for your wedding day. Susan Padron of Susan Padron Stylist choose a light color palette for the bridal party and couple. Keeping the menswear styles simple, a preference that we feel most men would appreciate! Susan proves that with the right style and colors your guys can look great in khakis and ties. For our bride and bridesmaids, Bella Bridesmaids offered an array of dresses which Susan choose fun and whimsical styles. We're a big fan of the bride's dress only continuing to prove that you do not have to wear white on your wedding day. Don't be afraid to step outside the box a bit with your dress. Mix matched bridesmaid dresses are on trend and lets your girls feel comfortable in a style that works best for them.
Salon Chloe and Cavas Expressions provide hair and makeup services for our models. Neutral makeup and hair to carry yourself and your girls from morning to night.
Can't forget the most important members of your bridal party! Your furry friends! Couples everywhere are loving to be able to include their pets in their special day. Zelda was such a good girl on set. How cute is her floral necklace?!
We're swapping out mason jars and opting for vintage vases and floral centerpieces, which creates a much needed and refreshing look to farm weddings. Levone Florals picked an array of color flowers and greens to bring a fresh breath of air to guest tables. While La Rue Events created a bright and colorful tablescape with patterened linens and bold glassware. Keeping your rustic look with the farm tables and wood chairs. A secluded sweetheart table below for when the couple needs a few moments to sneak away and take it all in.
Want to keep your cake simple but still make guests do a double take? A few fresh flowers and a ribbon do just the trick! Lysa's Cake'Tique created this elegant three tier cake sitting on an adorable cart from rental company Lilac and Lace Co. We're also loving the vintage chandelier that makes for a gorgeous ceremony piece.
Remember to order an extra set of invitations so your photographer can capture them for your wedding album. And include your important details like your ring, wedding jewels and bouquet. Stationery designer Alisa Wismer and jewelry designer Marnie Lewis Jewelry custom create these special details.
